Steeped in family tradition, founder Adrienne of Adrienne & Co. has harnessed her mother’s talent for creating delectable comestibles and has been building better baked goods since 2001. Grandma Mimi’s meatball sandwich ($7.49) loads homemade meatballs into a focaccia-bread cannon and blasts taste buds with savory sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, and the double-decker peanut butter and jelly multiplies memories of childhood rap duels with two layers of creamy peanut butter and grape jelly between three slices of bread ($5.49). The tossed salad offers vegetarians greener repast ($5.99), whereas the lasagna fills cavernous stomachs with a hearty layering of pasta, ground beef, ricotta cheese, and homemade red sauce ($11.99). Once first-wave hunger pains have been restrained, Adrienne’s generous dessert menu smothers stomachs with such sweet eats as the Triple Delight cake, a triple tag team of chocolate cake, chocolate-chip cheesecake, and fudge brownie ($5.99/slice), or the pumpkin rolls, fit for frightening sweet teeth out of their enamel costumes ($2.99).

About Adrienne & Co. Bakery and Cafe
Looking around at the hardwood tables and leather sofas of her own bakery, Adrienne Holland may occasionally be reminded of where her culinary journey began: in Niagara Falls, watching her mother, Myra, craft elaborate homemade cakes for western New York residents. Carrying on the family legacy, Adrienne opened her own 5,000-square-foot bakery in Jeffersonville in 2001, and recently helmed a full renovation of the space that included painting the walls a vibrant red. The real renovations, however, are still happening behind the scenes, as Adrienne and family prepare warm baked scones, grilled sandwiches, and Italian pastas in fresh basil-walnut pesto. Adrienne continues to pursue new creative avenues in cake-making with her novelty 3-D cakes, whose intricate designs have been commissioned for Muhammad Ali and featured on Fox's WDRB in the Morning.
