About Advanced Permanent Makeup Institute
Danielle Christina Good began her career in 1996 studying Esthetics in San Francisco at Zenzie’s Beauty College. Moving to Palm Springs, California in 2000 she became Lead Esthetician at the Hyatt Regency and continued to study Esthetics and Spa Management, while working for Rim Marcinkus, M.D., Ph.D. D.SC. as Cosmetic Surgeons Assistant and providing Medical Esthetic treatments to this clientele. She then took her career to Phoenix in search of more opportunities including studying Permanent Makeup and working in the famous resort city of Sedona for Dr. Bendy So, MD, FACS, the first surgeon in North America to do vein surgery. After becoming a Licensed Esthetics Instructor, she taught at two Phoenix schools and graduated in Advanced Micropigmentation in 2006. Danielle has been licensed and practicing Esthetics and Permanent Makeup in Virginia since 2012. She taught Esthetics for several years at the acclaimed Chrysm Institute of Esthetics in Virginia Beach Town Center and began working for Kyle Choe, M.D., F.A.C.S. at The Choe Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, where she continues to provide premium Esthetic services, in addition to being the Director of Education and Primary Instructor at APMI. In 2022 she completed training in Scalp Micropigmentation by the famous Stevey G at Sculpted Micropigmentation University in Miami. Danielle opened the Virginia Permanent Makeup Institute in 2016 and later the Advanced Permanent Makeup Institute in Virginia Beach, providing the required 200-hour Permanent Makeup coursework and practical instruction for Virginia licensure. When all coursework is completed, students are provided with tutoring and exam prep for the Virginia State Licensing exam. Individual professional advising and technical support is provided through the school to all alumni to foster and encourage successful careers as Licensed Permanent Makeup Professionals.
