Since the early 1960s, Al's Seafood has been serving Marylanders seafood platters, steamed clams and mussels, and freshly shucked oysters. But it's best known for its Maryland crabs, which are caught out on the boats each day, hauled to the restaurant, and transformed into crab cakes, creamy crab dip, and other signature dishes. Of course, Al's has quite a few non-seafood items on its menu, too, including a new york strip steak, lemon-pepper chicken, and veal parmigiana.
