During this four-and-a-half-hour tour, a Turnagain Arm Shuttle guide narrates the history of the area as they drive along the Turnagain Arm. As visitors admire views of the mountains and inlet, while wildlife is never guaranteed, they’ll likely catch sight of Dahl sheep, Beluga whales, and eagles. Customers will also be able to walk through the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on their own for one hour and see animals up close. The AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round that cannot be released into the wild while providing a permanent home, spacious enclosures, and quality animal care. Tours are available year-round and depart at 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Pick up location for this tour is the Anchorage Downtown Visitor Center.
