Alexis Angell is an NCCAOM board-certified Acupuncturist dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care that restores harmony in the body, mind, and spirit. She has experience treating acute and chronic pain, stress management, menstrual disorders, and sleep concerns. With a lifelong background in athletics, Alexis is passionate about working with athletes and fitness enthusiasts to focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and maximizing recovery to help her clients reach their fitness goals.
She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Class of 2024) from the New England School of Acupuncture and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. Alexis earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science with a Pre-Med Concentration and a minor in Psychology from Quinnipiac University in 2021. During her acupuncture studies, she pursued a dual track in Orthopedic Acupuncture and Japanese Acupuncture Styles, deepening her expertise in both modern and traditional approaches.
Alexis is especially interested in the mind-body connection and how psychological experiences impact pain states. Her acupuncture approach integrates techniques that help the body process psychological stress, address physical manifestations, and promote overall well-being. Outside of her practice, she enjoys fitness, exploring new coffee shops, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Health.
