The human body is a temple of emotions and impulses that float around like seeds in a thick raspberry marmalade. Today's Groupon will teach you to discipline those seeds in a productive, martially artistic manner with one month of unlimited martial-arts classes at Alive MMA for $49. Since the initiation fee (and initiation paddling) is waived, the value of this Groupon comes to $200.

Your one-month membership grants you access to any Alive MMA classes your limbs choose to pursue. Take your pick of wrestling, boxing, muay thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, kickboxing, and the most brutal martial art known to man—yoga. After developing strength, power, stamina, and technique in your chosen field of butt-kicking kinetics, you can soothe your battered body in the gym's full sauna before emerging from the steam like a Six Million Dollar Man adjusted for inflation.

Bill Bradley and his Alive MMA crew are highly trained in martial arts and self-defense and bring their years of experience to the cooperative group learning environment of every class. But leave your bloodlust at home where it can be transformed into Golden Girls fan-fiction; the Alive MMA gym's philosophy towards physical force advocates least-force-necessary tactics and conflict de-escalation.

If cat-and-mouse cartoons have taught us anything, it is that even the largest opponent can be taken down with the right moves, and that it never hurts to carry an anvil on your person at all times. Today's Groupon to Alive MMA will prove that the same rules apply to humans.

Citysearchers give Alive MMA a perfect and unanimous five stars:

  • I highly encourage anyone thinking about checking Alive MMA out to not hesitate and do it. Quality coaching, quality staff, the diverse member base and community is unbeatable in this town. I'm very happy with my decision to train at Alive. – azoton
  • …I feel as though I have been there for a year yet its barely been a month and at previous MMA gyms I have never seen this sense of community in a gym. It's not only a place for me to improve my MMA skills but quite possibly a place where i will create lasting relationships and grow as an individual and athlete. – Robster
  • Alive MMA creates a real team atmosphere without losing its edge as a great MMA gym. You can train at your own pace without harsh criticism or rudeness. – JPerez97202

About Alive MMA

When Bill Bradley began teaching martial arts in 1989, the term "MMA" hadn't even entered the lexicon. But whatever he might have called the high-energy blend of striking and grappling, he excelled at it. Today, Bradley shares his expertise at Alive MMA as both owner and instructor. The facility aims to provide the ideal workout space for martial arts practitioners, combining 3,000 square feet of mat space with an MMA cage, a regulation-sized boxing ring, and 10 heavy bags. Next door, a complete CrossFit gym features practical equipment for ever-changing workouts. But the focus on fitness doesn't exclude comfort—Alive MMA also houses a sauna and therapeutic massage room for post-exercise relaxation and pre-exercise pep talks.
