Turkey disaster, in-law stress, and an irrational Santa-phobia means the season of anxiety is upon us. Blow off a little holiday steam with a deal designed especially for Groupies: for $14, you'll get $28 worth of rides, games, and food at American Adventures Park in Marietta. Since there's no buy limit, you can treat everyone in your family to a Groupon outing, even your annoying cousin, Mark "The Morning Mad Man" Wilkers, who works as a CPA but has cultivated an abrasive DJ persona.

Along with 10 tokens for sampling the park's 75-game arcade, this holiday package provides four hours of unlimited access to American Adventures' rides and attractions. Have holiday fun with go-karts, Hidden Harbor mini-golf, and all Fun Forest rides, including the treetop swings, the barnstormer plane ride, and the ridgeline racer coaster. Your Groupon also includes a complimentary meal (an all-beef hot dog, small drink, and small fries), best saved after riding on the teacups.

The park is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas, rain or shine. Even if it does rain, your package's four-hour ride access includes the indoor Foam Factory, a multi-level funhouse full of foam balls, launchers, turbo blasters, and turrets. In addition to being good for hours of rambunctious, safe fun, the Foam Factory is an ideal venue for dueling children to defend their honor against scandalous defamations and allegations of combustible underpants.

Note: Each ride has its own height and weight requirements, which can be found on the website.

Vicious and Valiant at the Amusement Park

American Adventures Park is a place where your childhood dreams of amusement lay at your fingertips, but just because you get to feel like a kid, doesn’t mean you should act like one. Here’s a guide to proper park behavior featuring opposite-attitudeded children Vicious and Valiant:

At the Spinning Tea Cups Valiant: Spins calmly and closes his eyes when he feels sick.
Vicious: Was planning to throw up even before he got there and was just looking for an excuse. At the Bumper Cars Valiant: Makes eye contact with other drivers before playfully ramming them.
Vicious: Brings a baseball bat.

At Mini Golf Valiant: Is conscious of younger players and wishes everyone a “job well done.”
Vicious: Corrals an army of younger players to take over the rest of the park with putters and fierce bites.

At the Go-Karts Valiant: Slows his speed to make tight turns.
Vicious: Was planning to throw up even before he got there and was just looking for an excuse.
