About Annual Membership Pass - Stone Mountain Park

When Aaron Cloud built a 165-foot tower on top of Stone Mountain in 1838, he had no idea his simple tourist attraction would grow into the massive park that greets visitors today. Spread across 3,200 acres, park hosts a variety of natural, historic, and adventurous activities.

Attractions

Stunning views are easily within reach via the Summit Skyride. The high-speed Swiss cable cars glide effortlessly up towards the top of the mountain and its summit's iconic 190-foot relief carving. Visitors can also climb through a maze of ropes and bridges at Geyser Towers or SkyHike, nearby treetop adventure courses.

Walk-Up Trail to Top of Stone Mountain and Other Hiking Trails

Guests seeking a little more adventure during their visit should consider tackling the 1 mile trek to the top of the mountain, starting from the Confederate Hall Historical & Environmental Education Center. Marvel at amazing views of downtown Atlanta and the North Georgia mountains from 1,686 feet above sea level; on a clear day, you can see 60 miles in any direction from the summit. Or explore any of Stone Mountain Park's other hiking and walking trails, 15 miles in total. Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Seasonal Fun

Throughout the year, seasonal events add to Stone Mountain's allure. A pumpkin festival showcase spooky fun in October, while the Stone Mountain Christmas celebration brings the holidays to life with live performances and a visit from Santa Claus.
