About Archery Only
Archery Only owner Wayne Piersol has garnered a slew of archery titles, starting with the California State Junior Olympic Championship, which he won at the age of 15. Other accolades include the Whitney-Hill award, which was named in honor of Mount Whitney and notable big-game hunter Howard Hill. Today, Piersol and his fellow experts teach archery to students of all ages at 12 indoor lanes. They focus on foundational skills such as proper form and range etiquette. Over time, students learn about recurve bows and shooting styles—from Olympics-style archery to outdoor bowhunting—until they uncover and master their favorite.
