About Argos Optical
In Greek mythology, Argos was a hero and a giant who was said to possess nearly 100 ever-watchful eyes. Though they couldn't possibly help clients see that well, optical surgeons Dr. Elena Mier Trotter, MD and Dr. Selvin Gnannakkan, O.D. want to try. As the resident physicians at Argos Vision Center, they use state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and treat ocular diseases ranging from the common to the complex.
In addition to preventative care, they also perform routine exams to check visual acuity and weed out which patients are actually under the control of tiny robots living behind their eyes. These exams can lead to custom fittings for soft or rigid contact lenses as well as glasses lenses. In the case of the latter, patients may be turned over to optician Alex Finkelshteyn, who will fit them for designer frames by brands such as Gucci, Ray-Ban, and Persol.
