So it's a testament to the winemaking prowess of Scott, Joan, and their daughter Leah that they're able to create top-notch wines in this arid landscape. They even give a nod to their dry surroundings with the name of their winery, Aridus Wine Company. Here, a 32,000-square-foot winery sits amid 40 acres of grapevines, supplying the trio with the raw materials they need to create house-label wines such as malbec, chardonnay, and syrah. Guests can fill up their glasses by visiting any of the winery's three tasting rooms, or by sticking a spout in a nearby cactus.
