What We Offer
Pottery Class with Supplies for One Person (Ages 5+)
This introductory class is perfect for those new to pottery or anyone wanting to revisit the craft. During the one-hour session, you'll create two pieces: one using the table techniques and another on the wheel. The expert instructor will guide you through the basic curriculum of pottery, making sure you enjoy a rewarding experience. The projects made are small to medium sized. You’ll also have the option to return and glaze your creations at no extra fee, or ARTime BARRO can glaze them for you.
Wheel Thrown Planter Pottery Class with Supplies for One Person (Ages 13+)
For those seeking a more advanced experience, this class focuses on wheel throwing. Over the course of one hour, you'll make a small to medium-sized planter and a dish, something useful for your home using the potter's wheel. This class covers essential techniques such as wedging, clay prep, and centering, providing a comprehensive introduction to wheel throwing. After the session, you can choose a glaze color for your pieces, which will be ready for pickup two weeks later. While it’s recommended to start with the One-Time Class first, it’s not required.

About ARTime BARRO
The curriculum at ARTime Studio is designed to help you create pieces within many medias while working with simple techniques which in turn will expand your artistic knowledge and skill.
- Services Sketching classes are where precision, technique refinement, and shadowing are taught to be key to well-balanced works of art. Painting with acrylics is the most basic and easy to learn painting medium. Working with chalk pastels allows students to blend colors with fingers and teaches about shadows and value. Painting with watercolor teaches about the color wheel and how to mix colors properly to control paint with water. Ceramics and pottery classes teach about hand-building, coiling, and throwing.
- Gabriela's Statement: "We want to enrich your talent by helping you acquire the skills of a fine artist..."
- The Benefits: Students will be exposed to different artistic medias that will further entice their own tastes and interests. The students who master at least one media get to show their creations at the student exhibition that ARTime proudly presents after every 3 months of instruction.
