The Atlanta Botanical Garden sets winter evenings a-sparkle every night starting November 19 with Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. One-million LED lights array themselves in nature-inspired sculptures and bulb-bedecked topiaries that change color to holiday music. Two or four guests bundle up to sip hot drinks and skip through hundreds of poinsettias and seasonal plant displays as carolers sing through detached doorframes. The light show gives each strolling visitor an eyeful of light-wrapped trees and 30-foot conical topiaries, as well as glowing butterflies and star-filled woodlands. The show uses LED lights as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional, gasoline-filled bulbs and employs sustainable practices to dazzle with the smallest carbon footprint possible.
