$18 for Two Tickets to the Fest-of-Ale ($37.90 Value)
Every Thursday night through the month of October, the Atlanta Botanical Garden buzzes with harvest-time activities and live music. During the Fest-of-Ale, guests can visit more than 100 decorated scarecrows, enjoy seasonal craft beers, and take flashlight walks through the garden at night. On October 11, a garden expert will lead a nighttime conservatory tour, and on October 25, six award-winning chefs will face off in a giant-pumpkin-carving contest, with the winner determined by audience applause.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
Hundreds of exotic and native plants spread across more than 30 acres of growing space at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Under the careful watch of the garden's horticulture team, these species provide a serene backdrop for garden visitors even as they educate them on the wonders of the natural world. Stone pathways wind through the outdoor plots and indoor conservatories, allowing guests to visit delicate orchids, roses, rainforest plants, and desert species without booking plane tickets or getting the kids fitted for safari helmets. Amid its ever-changing visual display, the Atlanta Botanical Garden hosts frequent events such as concerts, holiday light shows, seasonal festivals, and an annual member-plant dance.
