In the animal kingdom, football is played between cheetahs and buffalo, and a seagull is forced to curl up and act as the ball. Catch humanity's version of the animals' gridiron gallantry with today's Groupon for a ticket to see one of two available Atlanta Falcons games. Choose from four options:

  • For $39, you get an upper-level seat to the 8:20 p.m. game on Thursday, November 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, plus a Reebok Falcons hat (an $87 value).

  • For $64, you get a lower-level or mezzanine seat to the 1 p.m. game on Sunday, January 2 against the Carolina Panthers (a $108 value).
  • For $39, you get an upper-level seat to the 1 p.m. game on Sunday, January 2 against the Carolina Panthers, plus a Reebok Falcons hat (an $87 value).

Tickets and hats can be picked up on game day before kickoff at Falcons Landing, located near Upper Gate D between the Georgia Dome and Phillips Arena.

The Falcons look to reinforce their position atop the NFC South and make a reservation for postseason play. Third-year quarterback Matt Ryan organizes the airborne offensive with laser-guided leather missiles distributed to fleet-footed receivers including veteran Tony Gonzalez and deep-threat Roddy White, while Michael Turner spearheads ground-based maneuvers through clashing lines of man mountains. Throughout the game, the 71,000 fans packing the Georgia Dome will shatter sound barriers and opponents' wills to compete.

Like survival instincts, football players become stronger and more attuned to peripheral motion during evening hours, so the November 11 face-off with the Ravens will feature plays unseen during afternoon action. Loyal Falcons fans, meanwhile, can watch the team's various storylines get resolved during the regular season finale against the divisional rival Panthers.

Reviews

Yelpers give the Georgia Dome a 3.5-star average:

  • …the GA dome certainly holds a feel of excitement for any football fan. It's been a permanent fixture of the Atlanta sky line for as long as I can remember. It's easy to get to and parking is more then adequate as long as you know your way around down town. – Eric S.
  • This has to be the best football stadium ever!...the Dome was amazing and the hot dogs were the best.. we had the best seats ever and just had a lot of fun. also the staff was super cool. – Molly M.
