With this Groupon, single passengers can enjoy swift transportation to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island onboard the Pinar del Río ferry. The trip takes approximately 3 hours, and passengers can return on the same day or stay multiple days on the island and return at a later date of their choice. The Pinar del Río departs at 8 a.m. from Fort Lauderdale and returns at 10 p.m., departing the Bahamas at 6:30 p.m., although weather can affect the approximate times.

Check-in begins three hours before departure, and terminal doors close one hour prior to departure. Passengers are encouraged to arrive two hours before departure, as high security measures may cause traffic delays. After returning to port, passengers should allow one hour for vessel clearance by local and federal authorities. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the departure date.

Balearia Caribbean provides ferry transportation from Florida to the Bahamas Grand Bahama Island.
