About Baltimore Hot Yoga & Wellness

After years of teaching yoga, Debbie Vojik, R.N. CIAYT, opened her own studio in Northeast Baltimore, an area with few hot-yoga options. The original studio opened in 2012, then known as Bikram Yoga Mid-Atlantic, where she soon began teaching Bikram's classic 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. As the studio grew, Debbie—who was completing her MS in Yoga Therapy—quickly realized that expanding her offerings beyond Bikram yoga and hot yoga allowed her to better serve the studio's diverse and friendly community. She decided to rebrand, and that's how Baltimore Hot Yoga & Wellness came to be in 2015. Instructors at the studio still teach classic 90-minute HOT Bikram classes, as well as express and intermediate alternatives, the studio offers hot and not-hot classes. For guests looking for something truly relaxing, there's the guided meditation of Yoga Nidra, restorative yoga, gentle flow, and the deep stretching of Yin Yoga, which are all offered in their non-hot yoga room with all props provided. For something more dynamic and high energy students should try our HOT Pilates,or Barre. All classes are taught by certified instructors.
