The 7D Cinema at Barefoot Landing offers more than just a temporary respite from the glaring sun and vivacious crowds at the popular North Myrtle Beach hub. It also provides an immersive escape into another world. In addition to treating eyeballs to impressive visuals on a 4D screen, the theater emanates sounds, scents, and sensations that correspond to the movie at hand. During the show, which can last anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes, each seat also performs nine different physical effects designed to heighten the illusion of being anywhere but safely planted on Earth.
