About Being Fit Fitness Center
The year 1986 was a health- and fitness-focused one. Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight boxing champion in history, smoking was banned on all forms of public transportation, and Being-Fit opened its doors. The gym sought to supply its members with everything they needed to reach their personal fitness goals. Though its equipment has been overhauled, Being-Fit’s mission hasn't changed in the intervening two decades.
Today, the gym's trainers host more than 30 varieties of group fitness classes, including yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, and Zumba. When not in class, students can take advantage of the cardio theater, where favorite shows and video clips of kittens wiping out on treadmills play constantly as people jog in place. Additionally, the gym’s personal trainers construct individualized workouts during one-on-one sessions, equipping members with repeatable exercises crafted to address personal fitness goals.
