The sunshine-yellow Bikram yoga studio sits on the East Side of Kauai, nicknamed Hawaii's "Garden Island." So it's fitting the studio has manicured greenery out front, and that palm fronds shade its entryway. It's all very picturesque and peaceful, but don't be fooled. By the end of class, you'll be sweating profusely enough to need two towels, or a tuxedo made of sponges.

That's the whole point of Bikram yoga. though. The classes take place in a heated studio, the better to limber up physiques and help practitioners sweat out toxins. Students can see how it works for themselves at least twice a day, in 90-minute sessions open to all skill levels.
