When Taylor Hayden founded Blackstone Shooting Sports, he wanted it to be a welcoming environment for everyone, but especially new firearms owners. That's why Blackstone has some unique design elements. For example, instead of storing weapons behind counters, the center arranges its more than 1,000 firearms in custom-designed, freestanding display cases in the center of its 6,000-square-foot retail area. The sleek, modern space features three classrooms with full audio-visual capabilities. However, the course schedule also includes free workshops to better accommodate newcomers.
