Students hit local and privately owned Blakeney Racquet and Swim Club's state-of-the-art clay and asphalt courts to train with experienced pros. At four to six students, classes are small enough to give each racquet swisher a dollop of individual attention. Tennis tutors can teach neophytes basic techniques such as forehand, backhand, and sleight of hand, or show experts how to pick up tennis balls with just the power of their minds. Guests can also take a swim in the club's olympic size pool or warm up with a dry sauna session after working out in the fitness center. The club also features a 1,000 sq. ft. banquet room, deck, and bar for social gatherings beyond court lines.
