The Discovery Flight lesson is intended for customers who want to gauge their interest in flying. Following a ground briefing, students will take control of a training aircraft for approximately 60-minutes under the supervision of an FAA-certified flight instructor. The flight-training starter package is geared toward those interested in learning how to pilot an airplane, and includes more comprehensive one-on-one ground instruction along with approximately one hour of live flight time and an hour in the flight simulator. Ground training will take place on regularly scheduled nights in a classroom environment. All flight training is done in a Diamond DA-20 or DA-40 aircraft.
For the flight-training starter package, up to two passengers can accompany the Groupon-holder for an added fee of $25 per person, weight restrictions apply.
