What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
The Heber location of bobby Lawrence Karate has been existence for over 5 years. We have been proud to be apart of the Heber Valley community. Malia Marcus has been fortunate to train under Master Lawrence for over 20 years. We are a Black Belt school and all of our programs lead to a Black Belt.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Arrive at the studio everyday motivated and dedicated to do the best they can.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Malia Marcus started practicing Karate when she was 3 years old. Master Lawrence and her various instructors inspired her dream: To teach others this wonderful art form and apply the self discipline and confidence taught to them to their lives.
What do you love most about your job?
Martial art instruction does not seem like a job at all. It is a fun and energetic art that improves focus, concentration and respect. To watch a person grow from this instruction is a rewarding feeling.
