About Boca's Best BBQ & Smokehouse

The owners of Gibson Smokehouse, Scott and Nathan Gibson, have transformed Sweet Deweys BBQ into Boca's Best BBQ & Smokehouse. To live up to the new name, they added custom smokers, 80 seats in the new dining room, and put experienced barbecue master Scott Gibson in charge of the pit. The North Carolina natives are bringing an unsual style of Que to South Florida.

To create his North Carolina barbecue, Gibson smokes pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and more. Nathan focus on bringing made from scratch sides, such as Hoppin' John, Collard Greens, and cornbread, just to name a few. Other dishes include smoked pastrami on rye for lunch, and chicken and waffles for breakfast. Meals conclude with bread pudding drenched in a honey whiskey sauce and peach cobbler, desserts more southern than monogrammed paper napkins.
