These francophone foodstuffs are served inside an accurate simulacrum of a French café, making it a great place to wear your beret, introduce your wife to your various mistresses, and ruefully observe how le mort adds a deliciously bittersweet edge to even the most sugary crêpe.

Bonjour's savory and sweet crêpe menu is crafted fresh daily from the finest ingredients slathered onto either plain or buckwheat batter. Slice your fork into the sealed aromas of a spicy veggie-melt crêpe (mozzarella, serranos, roasted red pepper, onions, with a side of salsa, $6.95), a turkey or chicken crêpe packed with pesto, mozzarella, and avocado ($7.95), or a light brie and apple crêpe ($6.95). If you're not feeling particularly crêpe-y, keep things hot with $5 paninis such as the Tuscan chicken and the Frenchie (ham, brie, dijon mustard, and apricot preserves).

More dessert-minded crêpistes won't go home disappointed, either, after a jaunt through Bonjour's sweet possibilities of lemon-curd crêpes, lingonberry crêpes (with crème fraiche), and strawberry-banana-nutella crêpes (all $5.95). You can even top off your crêpe with a cookie-dough ice-cream wig or a maple-nut ice-cream top hat, among other forms of frozen cream haberdashery. If the kids tag along, they can munch on an Itsa Pizza crepe (cheese or pepperoni, $4.95), or celebrate their successful potty training with a Job Well Done (nutella and banana, $5.95). Unlike the stuffy English muffin and the loud-talking, obnoxious American muffin, a Bonjour crêpe will add a suave Gallic sophistication and wry worldliness to any breakfast.
