A high-protein diet can help build muscle, which comes in handy for fighting off a shark that is also on a high-protein diet. Take a bite out of the circle of life with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of steaks, drinks, and more at Bridget's Modern Steakhouse, a modern steakhouse in Ambler.
Restaurateur Kevin Clib transformed Bridget's from the refurbished remains of a thrift store and TV repair shop into a modern steakhouse with an expansive selection of wines, cocktails, and martinis. The menu is populated with handsomely prepared entrees from land, sea, and outer space ($23–$39), like the linguine pescatori: shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels simmered in a spicy marinara, served over linguine and topped with lump crab meat ($33). Duos can share a chatter-inspiring specialty butcher block, such as the surf & turf: two 4 oz. lobster tails, lemon beurre blanc, a 10 oz. center cut filet mignon sauced with a sake-laced shitake reduction, scampi style jumbo shrimp and day boat scallops, potato du jour, and grilled asparagus ($95).
Behind Bridget's bar, masters of mixery craft cocktails ($7–$10) and martinis ($9–$12) with specialty spirits, such as St. Germain Elderflower Liquor, and also serve plenty of bottled beer ($4–$13) and white and red wines ($6–$14 by the glass).

- Although they are known for their steaks, everything on the menu is equally as good. Save room for desserts it is worth it. – terrir8896, Zagat
