Welcome to Groupon, Springfield! For our inaugural deal, $5 for $10 Worth of Mexican Fare at Bueno y Sano located in Springfield, Amherst, or Northampton. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Springfield: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power."
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (10 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in six months. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Today's Deal
Burritos are a culinary fusion of two cultures: Mesoamerican Indians, who ate only beans and rice, and European conquistadors, who ate only tortillas. Enjoy a melting pot of a meal with today's Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of Mexican fare at Bueno y Sano in Springfield, Amherst, or Northampton.
Bueno y Sano pulls in patrons with an enormous variety of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads, all made from scratch. Cross-train with crunchy tortilla chips ($0.75–$1, depending on location) before taking on the broad selection of burritos, which hit palates like tortilla-wrapped flavor bombs carrying payloads such as grilled zucchini ($6.25–$6.75), sautéed mushrooms ($6–$6.50), and beef chili ($6.50–$7). An array of tempting tacos—including barbecue chicken ($2.75–$3), steak ($2.75), and bean ($1.75–$2) varieties—take advantage of Mexico's most famous feat of one-fold edible origami, and quesadillas with fillings such as steak and mushrooms ($7.75–$8) adhere to walls much better than a traditional sandwich. Tortillaphobes can grab a fork to tackle a wide spectrum of salads ($6.25–$6.50), which pile plates with romaine lettuce, grilled red pepper, and onions, served with rice and black beans as well as optional toppings such as grilled portobello mushrooms (add $1.25–$1.50) or grilled chicken (add $1.50).
Bueno y Sano translates to “good and healthy,” which are also the only three words in the Mexican national anthem. The restaurant’s brightly colored décor augments its savory selections, setting the tone for a mouth fiesta suitable for sharing with family, friends, and the families of your friends.
