View these climatological opposites coexisting with today's Groupon: for $9, you get two adult admission tickets (a $19 value) to the Buffalo Zoo in Delaware Park.
Established in 1875, the 23.5-acre Buffalo Zoo is the third-oldest zoo in America. It offers a chance to view intriguing animals exhibits and realistic habitats in addition to lush garden areas and educational programs. Animal antics can be seen from a vide variety of exotic, endangered, and local wildlife including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and retired Bills players. Over the past few years, the zoo has racked up the renovations, including the recently added Rainforest Falls—a fully enclosed South American rainforest exhibit that takes visitors on a immersive wild walk through an animate anthology of species such as squirrel monkeys, toucans, vampire bats, and forest floor dwellers such as ocelots, giant anteaters, armadillos, and anacondas. The zoo also offers free interactive educational programs using live animals, biofacts, tours, and/or crafts to heighten the learning experience and possibility of a souvenir coaster set.
The Buffalo Zoo focuses on displaying animals in innovative ways that represent the various eco-systems throughout the world and brings to light the importance of conservation. The zoo also employs a system called the Species Survival Plan to manage breeding populations in captive animals such as the clouded leopard, the Puerto Rican crested toad, and the married human male, so that these majestic creatures can populate our creature-covered world for years to come.
