For 18 nights, from November 29 to December 23, Busch Gardens Tampa transforms itself into Christmas Town, a separate ticketed event of festive sights and sounds with more than a million twinkling lights. Christmas-themed entertainment includes live music, dancing light shows, treats such as hot chocolate, and holiday shopping at a variety of gift shops. SnowWorld, presented by Coca-Cola, allows guests to play in the snow in Florida with 15,000 square feet of space.

Families can visit Santa’s House to take photos with Santa, or meet elves at Mrs. Claus’ Family Feast, enjoying stories, songs, and a buffet. Live shows range from Madagascar Live! Operation: Christmas Vacation to Elmo’s Christmas Wish, and guests can see penguins at Penguin Point or ride the Christmas Town Express while singing along to traditional carols.<p>
