About Centre For Dance
Susan Armijo’s first dance moves came when she was 18 months old. Since those humble beginnings, her skills have advanced considerably. She is now proficient in an array of styles—tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and salsa, to name a few—and even danced on the field of Cowboys Stadium during the Thanksgiving halftime show in 2011. Today, she is the owner and artistic director of Centre for Dance, where she and her credentialed staff teach the next generation with dance classes for students as young as 18 months old. Creative-movement classes help toddlers master motor skills and jazz-drill classes introduce teens to classic 20th-century moves. The team also leads hip-hop classes for all ages, helping students bust moves funkier than Gene Kelly’s guest appearance on Soul Train.
