Director Kristin K. Yost knew from the first time her fingers brushed against the ivories that she wanted to devote her life to music. While at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, Kristin won the South Dakota Music Teachers Association Collegiate Piano Division and the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire Concerto Competition. In 2006, Ms. Yost graduated from Southern Methodist University, with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. She now works with the Centre's nine specialized instructors to provide high quality instruction (Most members of the faculty have a master's degree or above.) to learners of all ages.

If you're looking for a thoughtful way to culture kids, musical lessons do more than put them on the proper sound track.
