Wedges of metal cartwheel through the air from the hands of amateurs vikings and competitive throwers alike at Chatham Axes. The active entertainment venue staffs coaches on all of their lanes to offer tips and teach proper safety techniques, but it's not uncommon for friends, families, and coworkers to catch onto this pulse-pounding sport quickly. A proud member of the International Axe Throwing Federation, Chatham Axes also runs five league seasons per year, all of which culminate in February's National Axe Throwing Championships, in addition to their weekday and weekend lane rentals.
