During a tour tailor-made for first-time visitors to the city, a Chicago Architecture Foundation guide introduces groups to some of Chicago's most impressive landmarks, including the Art Institute, Willis Tower, Wrigley Building, Chicago Theatre, and John Hancock Center. The tour begins at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, involves hop-ons and hop-offs of the "L" train (stairs are required), and ends at the intersection of Michigan and Chicago Avenue—the heart of the Magnificent Mile.

About Chicago Architecture Center
With a mission to inspire people to discover why design matters, the Chicago Architecture Center. (CAC), a nonprofit organization, offers many educational programs and tours which help locals and visitors appreciate the city's architecture. CAC began leading walking tours of the Loop in 1970 and has expanded to many forms of urban exploration: boats, bus, bike, "L" trains, and even Segways. Their volunteer docents lead tours after completing a graduate-level 10-week training program. In addition to hosting over 85 tours, the CAC hosts a variety of youth-education activities, lectures, special events, and rotating exhibits that highlight Chicago and its many communities.
