About Chino Youth Museum

Over 20 years ago, the city of Chino wanted to build something for the youths of their diverse community. After years of planning and then rehabbing the old First National Bank building, they opened the Chino Youth Museum where little ones can engage in interactive learning in order to develop an appreciation of history. The museums various exhibits, for instance, document the development of Chino Valley during the late 19th and early 20th century for a greater understanding of where the community has come from as well as where they are going.

  • Summer Programs: seasonal programs include Beat the Heat and Dr. Moo's Silly Science. Kids can get their hands dirty concocting silly experiments and joining in on wild water activities or crafts.

  • First Friday CYM Lab: the Museum offers family friendly STEAM experiments on the first Friday of each month from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Admission is free. The program is not offered March, July, or December.
