About Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
Visit the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center to experience adventure and interactive fun! A 4D Experience Theater, and a Campfire Theater with Jesse and Tex animatronics are highlights for all ages. In the Duncan General Store, little ones can play checkers, gather eggs and play shopkeeper with old fashioned money. Several temporary artist exhibits provide an ever changing palette of cowboy western art, Native American and more. Exhibits change about every 10-12 weeks.
Historical original works of cowboy western and Native American art are permanently featured in the Garis Gallery of the American West. It includes famous artists such as Charlie Russell, Frederic Remington, Allan Houser and George Catlin, along with more contemporary artists such as Larry Pirnie and John Coleman. Be sure to see the life-size tribute bronze monument On the Chisholm Trail, by Oklahoma sculptor Paul Moore, located on the southwest corner of the property. Visitors travel from around the world to experience the Chisholm Trail at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan, OK. Chisholm Trail Heritage Center also have a gift shop with a variety of items for all ages, including toys, Oklahoma made products, books, home décor, T-shirts and coffee mugs.
