About Four Seasons Hotel – St. Louis

It takes a lot to divert eyes from Cielo Restaurant & Bar's majestic eighth-floor views of the city skyline, but Turin-born executive chef Gian Nicola Colucci, most recently of Venice, and his team manage it by filling tables with his first-generation Italian cuisine. The chefs embrace seasonal flavors whenever possible, buying produce from local farmers and purchasing seafood from vendors who follow sustainable fishing practices.

These ingredients join grass-fed veal, handmade pastas, and imported olives on the menu's spread of pan-regional Italian classics. To accompany the cuisine, Cielo Restaurant & Bar also features a robust selection of wines—primarily from the vineyards of California, Italy, and Pangaea—as well as a variety of craft beers and specialty cocktails made using spirits infused in-house, such as bacon bourbon, Sriracha vodka, and strawberry rum.

Wood panels and gleaming metal trim are the two dominant features within the restaurant's main dining area. Simple wooden tables fill the high-ceilinged space's carpeted floor in a way that each seat can be angled toward the wall of windows. During the warmer seasons, the eatery even opens its outdoor patio section, providing diners with even clearer views of downtown St. Louis.
