$10 for $25 Worth of DIY Doggie Washing, Doggie Daycare, or Dog- and Cat-Boarding Services from City Bark

Though dogs can take care of themselves, they choose not to—instead focusing their efforts on chasing squirrels, licking marmalade off babies, and learning American Sign Language. Give your hardworking dog or cat the attention it deserves with today's deal: for $10, you get $25 worth of self-service dog washing, doggie daycare, or dog- and cat-boarding services from City Bark, at any of their four locations: on 8th Avenue, and in Lodo, Parker or Englewood. You'll also receive a one-time voucher for 20% off grooming services, valid only at the Lodo and Parker locations.
With the exception of the Englewood location, all City Bark locations provide self-wash tubs for expedient DIY doggie dunking (about $10 for 30 minutes without shampoo, $11.50 with shampoo; rates vary slightly by location). These specially designed tubs ensure safe and easy dog baths, pleasant for person and pup alike. City Bark provides numerous accoutrements to make the slather sessions go swimmingly, including waterproof aprons, a variety of doggie shampoos, towels, and dryers for preventing post-bath shake-spray. After donning the apron, place your pal in a waist-high tub, specially designed for safe and simple bath time that beats crouching on the tiles of a home lavatory while your dog writhes and splashes, ruining freshly acquired lavender soap angels and terrifying the neighbors with plaintive howling.
All four City Bark comprehensive pet centers also offer a variety of other services, including daycare (about $27 for a full day, $16.50 for a half) and overnight boarding for pampered pooches (about $25 for a standard room) and fair-faring felines (about $15 for a standard room). With a pointed paw on the pulse of technology, City Bark allows owners to check on their pets remotely via a live, streaming webcam featuring voiceover commentary by Marv Albert. Both the Parker and 8th Avenue facilities have received the Gold PCSA Accreditation, which is only given to facilities that have demonstrated dedication to quality pet care. Every location, with the exception of Englewood, has an on-site outdoor park and doggie pool for full-sensory canine entertainment and pooch-pleasing wet-dog smell.
All dogs participating in daycare must pass an initial interview process, have proof of vaccinations, and enjoy playing with other dogs; this ensures that all dogs playing together are well socialized and not prone to violence. This Groupon is not valid for November 21–27, 2010, and December 20, 2010–January 2, 2011.

- The people who work there are wonderful and somehow know my dog’s name and that she belongs to me. When I come in to pick her up after work I do not even have to say anything, they just tell someone to get her for me. – LuLu8782, Citysearch
