When the first Classic Car Wash opened back in 1964, it made something of a splash. Forgoing the utilitarian make of traditional car washes, the shop modeled its first building after a Mississippi riverboat. Over the next 50 years, the Classic Car Wash family flourished, opening other architecturally distinctive venues, and earning "Best Carwash in Silicon Valley" awards for seven consecutive years by the Mercury News. Each of the four locations boasts similar flourishes—the Robertsville wash's Victorian architecture, for example, nods to the region's architectural heritage. But despite these grand designs, there are certain consistencies from one location to the next. Each wash features gentle state-of-the-art wash technology and uses 100% recycled water.

Wash packages at Westgate Classic Car Wash range from quick exterior washes to "The Works" packs, which feature exterior surface protectant, polish, sealer, and interior cleaning. Each Classic Car Wash also offers details for cars that need a little more attention—techs tackle blemishes inside and out with steam cleaning and body clay treatments, all in service of making the car shine like it did the day it first drank motor oil from a sippy cup. All four locations have food and drinks, and three of them feature Queen's Chest gift shops with trinkets and gifts from around the world.
