Although chef Kristen Ashley grew up on the South Side of Chicago, her culinary style comes straight from the Deep South. Inspired by the recipes she learned from her grandmother as a young girl, Kristen designed a catering menu showcasing classics including sautéed bourbon shrimp, baked mac 'n' cheese, and honey-glazed pork roast. In addition to serving homey favorites, Kristen is committed to offering health-conscious options, too; for example, she fries her turkey in 100% peanut oil to limit grease, and creates veggie-filled sides such as cauliflower mash and zucchini chips.
