We are so pleased to announce that once again, we will be offering Herbal Medicine Making Thursdays to coincide with the Sawmill Farms CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) pick-up dates! And don't worry if you don't participate in the CSA, you can still join us as we'll have plenty of herbs to share. 

This year, Medicine Making will be structured as a class and we will focus on the benefits, qualities and identifying characteristics of a few of the herbs that arrive in the CSA share for each delivery date. 

We will provide everything you need to create healing herbal remedies with the plants from your share. You will be able to make a variety of tinctures, extracts, vinegars or oils of your choice (for a total of 10oz.-12oz.). Later in the season we will demonstrate how to make salves and balms too!

We'll provide the jars, vodka, oil, vinegar, honey, labels and whatever else is required. We'll have chopping boards here - if you are working with roots, please bring your own sharp knife if possible.

Price includes the materials fee.
