CrossFit Paladin chose to name their gym after the ancient, armored defenders of the weak and upholders of justice. It's a nod to the gym's many law-enforcement and military members, and as the trainers point out, an expression of their workout philosophy of combining integrity, passion, and a love of sweaty gym socks. They balance the competitive environment of a CrossFit box with a motivational atmosphere. Trainers and students support each other and encourage one another to reach new goals—it's a constant battle. The coaches continually introduce new and more difficult exercises, all based on the functional movements people need in their everyday lives.
