CrossFit UXO traces its roots to an unexpected place: the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan. That's because the facility's owners are U.S. veterans, who now make it their mission to use CrossFit as a way to enrich the lives of fellow veterans and exercisers throughout the community. At CrossFit UXO, people of all ages and ability levels find camaraderie in getting fit, following a program that helps improve their functional strength, increase their mobility, and boost their confidence. The ever-changing workouts center around exercises that include lunging, twisting, pushing, pulling, and bending, but because exercises are scalable to fitness level, students varying levels of fitness can participate and expect great results.

Beyond CrossFit, CrossFit UXO also offers a warrior athlete program that's built around the needs of veterans suffering from combat-related physical and mental disabilities.
