Gyms have their origins in ancient Greece, where workouts were held to the pulsating rhythms of Top 40 philosophical rants and stationary chariots offered stationary horses multiple incline settings to achieve their fitness goals. Get classical fitness and modern finesse with today's Groupon: for $39, you get a one-month gym membership at Crunch (a $150 value). This membership can be used at the West Hollywood location. This deal is not valid for personal training, Pilates Reformer sessions, or any other fee-based amenity.
Crunch finds the fun in fitness with its no-judgment, open-minded approach to exercise. With a one-month membership, clients get unlimited access to the gym and its state-of-the-art facilities. Tap into the timeless power of ancient lever, pulley, and treadmill technologies to tone muscles and trim mass, or exert dominance over weak-willed weights with prop-assisted lifts and lunges. The one-month membership also grants users admittance to Crunch's collection of wildly imaginative classes, split up into three categories—Action Sports, Chill Outs, and Dance Rhythms. Jump on a stationary bike and scale hypothetical Everests in The Ride, wrap yourself in the folds of fitness-friendly fabric for AntiGravity Yoga Wings, or peel off skirts of stress in Crunch's pole-dancing class, among many more. Crunch even scores clients' sweat-inducing sessions with live DJs.
As a bonus, Crunch is offering a special $29.99 enrollment fee (normally $249) to Groupon purchasers who wish to continue with the gym after this deal. Awaken your health from its hamburger-scented hibernation and enjoy a creative approach to conditioning with Crunch.

About Crunch
Though now spread over the United States, Crunch gym started in a basement-level aerobics studio in New York City. Despite the humble location, the gym's founders aspired to foster a workout environment that would keep members exercising through entertainment and not shouting from drill-sergeant-like trainers. Their idea was to host fitness classes with offbeat touches, including hip-hop aerobics featuring a live rapper and coed action wrestling.
Twenty years later, Crunch gyms' fitness classes still stray from the beaten path. Body Web with TRX sessions suspend members from a pillar, where they complete gravity-defying maneuvers with help from strong resistance ropes. In Bosu Bootcamp, every exercise is completed on an apparatus that is part balance ball, part core board, and fully endorsed by circus seals nationwide.
