Q&A with Sheryl, Creativity Coach

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
Both owners, Sheryl and Erin, have a variety of creative skills and talents. We have taught workshops and classes for all ages in a variety of settings. We believe that everyone has creative potential, and art can be fun and non-intimidating in the right place, with the right stuff and the right people leading the way.

What special training do you or your staff have?
Erin has Bachelors in Studio Art and Bachelors in Secondary Education for art.
Sheryl has Bachelors in Child and Familly Development, with graduate work in Adult and Continuing Education and is a trained coach.

As the old adage says, “Stuff happens.” What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
We attend a variety of craft and trade shows as well as many continuing education courses offered in our community and beyond. We belong to the Craft and Hobby Association. We also take advantage of online learning courses on new techniques and medium.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn’t cover?
We believe in creativity, play and humor as an important part of every experience at Dare to Dabble.
