In their on-ramp program, CrossFit 806's five certified CrossFit trainers transform mundane exercise routines into high-intensity body conditioning systems that focus on fitness knowledge, diet, and physical ability. Over two weeks, beginners and seasoned sweaters alike spend six one-hour sessions learning the methodology, techniques, and skills needed to workout without suffering injury or making rookie mistakes such as ingesting a barbell. Body benders practice squats, presses, deadlifts, and kettle ball movements, and learn to stretch their toes using proper running technique, and exercises vary from class to class to prevent muscles from becoming bored and heckling the Hulk. A crash course in nutrition teaches fitness pupils what to eat, while the Workout of the Day is a short, intense focus on one or more of 10 areas of fitness, such as strength, agility, and coordination. Customers who successfully complete the on-ramp course and wish to continue down the path to fitness, are then eligible to sign up for CrossFit 806’s standard CrossFit courses (not included in the cost of the Groupon).

About CrossFit 806

CrossFit 806's dedicated coaches are extensively trained in the CrossFit regimen, with individual concentrations in football, gymnastics, and power lifting. Their varied backgrounds allow the gym to offer a variety of CrossFit sessions, including ones that cater to newbies, seasoned athletes, teens, and young children. There are also childcare services available onsite, so tykes can stay safe while their parents work out or build treehouses out of free weights.
