About Desert Haven Community Acupuncture
At Desert Haven Community Acupuncture, we strive to give quality care in a safe and comfortable setting, at about half the cost of private acupuncture. Treatments are individualized based on clients' needs and concerns.
Community acupuncture is practiced by having the ability to host 2 or more persons within an hour, allowing the practitioner to lower the cost, as patients are essentially sharing time. This does not take away from each patient's individual treatment. When a patient comes into the clinic, the practitioner will spend 10 or more minutes to assess the patient and place needles (assessments may be longer for new patients). When the needles have been placed, the patient will rest, and in the meantime, the acupuncturist will move on to the next person. Patients are invited to stay for up to an hour from the start of their appointment time, although they may leave earlier if desired. When patients are ready to leave, the practitioner will remove the needles, check in with you, then you will be free to go.
