    The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is a preliminary course that begins with a video about scuba, after which instructors tell students about the mechanics and fun of scuba diving. Finally, students enter the pool and learn to breathe underwater. Attendees need only a bathing suit and towel.

    The five-week course includes both classroom and pool instruction with PADI-certified diving instructors.
