The shell-cracking chefs at Eggspectation scramble up 160 dishes that range from yolk-infused morning-style meals to meaty, warming dinners. Like the satin alarm clocks favored by Victorian carriage drivers, specialty egg dishes offer an opulent way to wake up drowsing taste buds at any hour of the day. The Eggstreme signature plate is a palatable pastiche of two eggs, smoked salmon, grilled tomatoes, capers, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese ($15.99). Alternately, the grilled honey-orange mustard chicken burger, a goat-cheese topped chicken breast marinated in sweet and citrusy sauces, will appease mouths in the mood for meatier fare ($11.49). Evening breakfasts can be bolstered with one of the many unique juice amalgamations from the beverage bar, such as the Banango, a fruity concoction of bananas, mangos, and orange juice ($6.49), not to be confused with the bonongo, a musical but tasteless marriage of bananas and bongos.
