At El Patron, you'll find all the usual suspects: tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and fajitas. But the family-owned restaurant also has some edible surprises in store. For example, in addition to chicken, steak, and birthday confetti, tacos can be filled with glazed duck breast or boneless short rib. As for the house specialties, they range from cheese-stuffed, fire-roasted poblano peppers to the carnitas michoacanas—slow-braised, bone-in pork rack flavored with a herbs and spices. 

El Patron is also one of the few places where visitors can find more than 70 different tequilas. The restaurant uses that collection to craft its signature margaritas, including a house blend featuring orange liquor, sour mix, and orange juice.
